Lusot na sa Gabinete ni President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang gisugyot nga 2027 National Budget human kini hisgutan ug maaprubahan sa Cabinet, sumala ni Presidential Communications Office Secretary Dave Gomez.
Ang maong budget gipresentar sa Department of Budget and Management (DBM) atol sa Cabinet meeting. Apan, wala pa gipadayag ang kinatibuk-ang kantidad ug uban pang detalye niini aron dili maunhan ang opisyal nga pagsumite sa Presidente ngadto sa Kongreso.
Sumala sa DBM, gisugyot sa Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC) ang P7.2 trilyon nga pondo alang sa 2027. Kini mas taas og 6 porsyento kumpara sa budget sa 2026 ug katumbas sa 21.7 porsyento sa gross domestic product o GDP sa nasud.
Sumala sa DBM, gitaasan usab sa gobyerno ang medium-term deficit targets tungod sa gilaumang mas taas nga inflation sa mosunod nga duha ka tuig.
Gilauman nga isumite ni Presidente Marcos ang proposed national budget sa Kongreso sulod sa 30 ka adlaw gikan sa pag-abli sa regular nga sesyon sa Agosto, diin pagaagian pa kini sa deliberasyon ug pag-apruba sa mga magbabalaod.
